Get Those Steps In!

One of the things our management team has recently committed to is getting 10,000 steps a day. That’s right, in addition to what we do teaching on the daily, we are getting some extra movement. Do you know where we like to get it most? Outside in the sunshine!

Simply increasing your step count can improve your overall health. And you know what else counts toward steps? Random activities like mowing the grass, playing with your children, and even cleaning the house (but who really wants to do that!). Non-exercise activity thermogenesis (NEAT) can help significantly with fat loss. It won’t replace your awesome sweat sessions, but motion is lotion. Find ways in your day to inject just a little more movement… One step at a time!
