FAQS

  • Try an All-Levels yoga class! All our classes are designed to work for various stages of experience, from novice to advanced practice. Let your instructor know if it’s your first time attending any of our classes so they can guide you through it. Then, try all of our amazing classes! Find your sweet spot with the up-beat energy of Cycle, the full-body experience of Barre, or one of our integrative Fusion classes. We encourage you to try a variety of classes for a well-rounded sense of health and happiness.

  • Purchase our New Student Special and create your account at checkout. Then you can book classes at both of our locations on our schedule pages.

If you’d rather, we’ll walk you through it over the phone or in the studio. Just come to the studio 15 minutes before class so we can get you set up.

  • Don’t bother with expensive, designer yoga gear. Just wear clothes that are comfortable and move with you.

    • Water. Stay hydrated during and after your class. If you forget your water, we have some available for purchase.

    • A comfortable, non-slip mat. We ask that you take your mat home with you after each class, as we can’t store them in the studio. If you’d prefer, we also have mats available to rent for $5 a session.

    • A towel. To dry off with, especially if you’re taking a heated class.

Items that aren’t needed during class can be safely stored in the cubbies just off the lobby.

  • Try to avoid eating for two hours prior to class. We want you to feel comfortable while moving. However, we recommend you do what feels good for YOUR body.

  • When you arrive at the studio, check in with the front desk. The staff will help you sign in and give you a tour of the studio, then help you set up for class.

  • All of our classes can be adapted to any fitness level. They’re designed to fit each person’s unique abilities by adjusting the resistance level on a bike, choosing lighter weights, or modifying a pose. We encourage you to honor your body. Each class will bring increased confidence and strength, so go at your own pace and have fun! Just let your instructor know if it’s your first class of that type.

  • BDY has both heated and non-heated classes at all levels. If you are interested in trying a heated class, bring water and a towel (we offer towels and have water for purchase). Barre, TRX and Fusion classes may feel warmer as they are more active classes. Keep in mind “heated” means 86-90 degrees as we create plenty of our own heat with movement.

  • The bike and bike seat require a little getting used to if you’re a beginner. It sometimes helps to wear padded bike shorts or use a cushioned gel seat as you’re becoming accustomed to the bike.

  • We’re always here to help. Don’t hesitate to email us with more questions at info@bdystudios.com or call (681)204-3968.
